As a regular part of its triennal congress, the German Society for Analytic Philosophy (GAP) awards three prizes:
- the Wolfgang-Stegmüller-Award for outstanding works in the field of analytic philosophy and
- the ontos-Award for the promotion of ontology and metaphysics
aim at advancing philosophers in the early stages of their career.
With the
the Society for Analytic Philosophy honors a renowned German speaking philosopher for outstanding achievements in the field of analytic philosophy.
In addition, the Society for Analytic Philosophy and the University of Osnabrück offer three Best-Paper-Awards (3 x 250 Euro) and one Best-Poster-Award (250 Euro) at the GAP.9 congress 2015.
